About SunGrid Energy.

Our role

SunGrid Energy works with an independent Romanian company that develops, builds and operates solar parks. We report the parks' energy production, model the economics of electricity generation, and are the UK point of contact for commercial enquiries.

The partner company is responsible for the parks on the ground: land, permits, grid connection, construction, operation and maintenance. It is a separate company. SunGrid Energy does not build or operate the parks. The partner is not named publicly at this stage.

Our focus

• Romanian photovoltaic projects. One operating 400 kWp park in Vâlcea County, five proposed parks at Cernișoara and further locations under consideration.
• Energy performance reporting. Metered generation and sales, published once verified.
• Transparent modelling. Yields from PVGIS and a revenue calculator whose formulas and assumptions are published.
